We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use your browsing activity to create advertising profiles, and we do not monetize your browsing history.

The extensions may store information locally in your browser, including enabled protection features, per-site and per-channel settings, Focus Mode and AI Segmenter preferences, allowlists and blocked-element rules, locally calculated blocking statistics, and interface or language preferences.

This information remains on your device unless a feature clearly requires communication with our servers. Removing the extension or clearing its stored data will remove these local settings.

Ad blocking requires the extensions to inspect webpage content and network requests so they can identify and block ads, trackers, and unwanted elements.

This processing happens for the purpose of providing the features you enable. We do not use this access to build a personal profile or sell your browsing activity.

SBlock YouTube may connect to our servers to retrieve blocking updates, compatibility information, or live service status. Standard technical information such as an IP address, request time, extension version, and basic request details may be processed by our hosting provider when this happens.

When you visit sblock.ch, our website provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, date and time of access, and security or diagnostic information.

The website may use essential cookies required for security, navigation, forms, and basic functionality.

We do not use cookies to create cross-site advertising profiles. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will request consent where required and update this policy.

When you submit an issue report or contact support, we may receive the information you provide, including product and issue category, website or YouTube URL, description and screenshots, email address, browser and extension version, and optional diagnostic information.

Diagnostic information is included only when you choose to send it.

We use this information to investigate problems, reply to you, improve the extensions, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Support emails are not added to marketing lists without permission.

One-time donations are processed by PayPal. PayPal handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

We may receive information PayPal makes available to us, such as donor name, donation amount, transaction reference, payment status, and date of donation.

The donor wall may display the donor name, donation amount, and any custom message submitted for publication. Payment details and transaction references are never displayed publicly.

Donation information may be retained where required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

We use information only when needed to provide and maintain our products, process issue reports and support requests, deliver extension updates and service-status information, process and record donations, protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Local extension settings remain until you clear them or uninstall the extension. Issue reports and support messages remain while needed for support, debugging, and security. Server logs are retained for a limited period for reliability and abuse prevention. Donation records may be retained as required by accounting and tax laws.

Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed, unless longer retention is legally required.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, a copy of your information, withdrawal of consent, or to submit a complaint to a data-protection authority.

You can also clear local extension data, change extension settings, disable features, or uninstall the extensions at any time.
